I had an awesome drink called “A Star Is Born” as My daughter and I were celebrating my granddaughter’s 19th birthday!! I also had the salmon entree which it was super delicious! Last night we celebrated our 54th anniversary here. First time we have ever been here. What a beautiful place. Our service was fantastic. A great shout out to Miriam and Jo, who did such an awesome job taking care of our crew. Being able to see the specials on the pad was fantastic. It really helped me make a decision of what I wanted for dinner We don't think we'll wait till 55 years to come again. Hopefully next time it will be warm and all of the doors will be open. Can't wait to experience that. We highly recommend coming here. We will definitely do it again. Was very surprised by the desert that was brought out to celebrate our anniversary. Such a great job and great people and wonderful wonderful staff.
This was absolutely amazing food. I got the cowboy Steak with mashed potatoes, carrots, and asparagus. I added a side salad, and let me tell you - the creamy honey balsamic dressing was soooo good! I requested the steak to be cooked medium, and it was perfect. All of the sides were cooked well, and the service was pleasant and attentive.
Oliver’s never disappoints. It’s our favorite place to celebrate special occasions. The servers are friendly, the food is outstanding, the drinks are delicious (and strong), and you can’t beat the view. Shoutout to Wesley for today’s fantastic service!
Had a great date night with great food! Ordered surf and turf and it was nice and juicy and well flavored! My husband ordered the lamb shank and he loved it! For dessert we got tiramisu. The service was good and the ambience was nice.
Oliver’s is definitely one of my favorite restaurants on Erie’s bayfront! The views are incredible! On nice summer days they’ll even open the floor to ceiling windows which is so nice. I’ve come for brunch, lunch and dinner. I’ve always been super satisfied with their food. It’s easy to make a reservation on Open Table too! I recently celebrated my 40th birthday there and they brought out a delicious dessert (a waffle with ice cream and all the toppings) with a flaming sparkler on top! It was really sweet and very much appreciated. I’ve never had a bad server or service here.
Oliver’s Rooftop has an amazing view, and it’s definitely a place where you should reserve in advance — walk‑ins usually won’t get a table. The food is on the pricier side and leans toward an Asian‑fusion flavor. If you’re celebrating a birthday, they bring out a dessert with a candle, which is a nice touch.
We made a reservation for 8:15 on a Saturday just about 8 hours prior & when we came in we were seated right away. Our server was Michael, who was very attentive, helpful, kind and spent time talking to us about the menu and in general. Michael went above and beyond to ensure that we were informed, happy & enjoying ourselves. I appreciated that Michael showed us photos of menu items because a visual can really make or break a decision for me & I have never seen anything like that done before. Through and through our experience was great! The only thing I can say that I didn't like was a patron of the bar was talking *at* the table next to us and then he started involving us in the conversation that clearly only he was interested in having. That is no fault to the restaurant or staff at Oliver's. If I was an employee I might have suggested that the patron leave the other guests alone, but not everyone is annoyed by intoxicated people like I am. Overall it didn't take away from my experience or bother me enough to get upset. I will certainly be coming back next time we take a trip to Erie. This time I had the filet mignon, but I also wanted to try the smash burger. Everything looked and was delicious! We also had the crème brûlée trio which was AMAZING! We will be back!
This restaurant came highly recommended while we were visiting Erie, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We loved everything about our experience—from the delicious food to the outstanding service. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which made our evening even more special. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be back the next time we’re in Erie!
What a unique and lovely gem. BEAUTIFUL view, and love how the wall can actually open up looking out over the bay in nice weather. SO COOL. Food was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the Lobster Deviled Eggs and the Ice Cream Waffle dessert... We were only able to sit at the bar since we didn't have reservations, so definitely make reservations!
